Iran’s Export to Germany Hit Record High Since March 2023

From January to November 2024, the total trade volume between Iran and Germany amounted to €1.37 billion, representing a 4% increase compared to the same period in the previous year.

According to data from Germany's Federal Statistical Office, the bilateral trade volume for the first eleven months of 2024 reached €1.37 billion. This marks a 4% growth compared to the €1.32 billion recorded during the same period in 2023. German exports to Iran totaled €1.16 billion, a 6% rise compared to €1.09 billion in 2023. Meanwhile, Iranian exports to Germany amounted to €208 million, reflecting a 6% decline from €222 million in the previous year.

 

In November 2024, trade between the two nations stood at €124 million, a 2% increase compared to €122 million in November 2023. Of this total, German exports accounted for €101 million, marking a slight decline of 1%, while Iranian exports reached €23 million, a significant 17% increase. This figure represents the highest monthly export level from Iran to Germany since March 2023 (€32 million).
